In the period 1976-1992 he was a member of the Executive committee of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) and the first Vice-President of that institution in the period 1980-1984. Also he was a rector of NSA ‘Vassil Levski’ from 1979 to 1987 and a president of the Bulgarian Gymnastics Federation from 1970 to 1990. He is currently a Director of the Gymnastics Department at the NSA 'Vassil Levski' - Sofia.
