SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCES, COURSES, AWARDS & WORKSHOPS
This page consists of my CPD (Continuing Professional Development) training, which includes courses, scientific conferences, meetings, workshops, certificates and awards. I believe that the CPD is an essential way to insure the maintenance and development of knowledge and skills.
The UKCC Level 3 qualification takes the form of practical Technical Modules, covering all six apparatuses in men's artistic gymnastics (Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars and High Bar), as well as a Generic theory course.
In order to become a BASES Certified Exercise Practitioner the individual must meet the following criteria: 1. BASES membership; 2. Bachelors and/or post graduate study in Sport/Exercise Science which is either BASES endorsed (BUES) or meet the BUES criteria; 3. Demonstrate practical vocational knowledge and skills by holding an advanced exercise instructors’ qualification, such as: Skills Active Level 4 Recognised Qualification or ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C).
