With nearly 10 years experience of teaching children at all levels, ages and abilities, I am now providing one to one sessions, in the comfort of your own home, geared towards your personal goals. I am currently coaching children (5-15 years of age) on a one to one basis in North & Central London.
Why Gymnastics? Gymnastics is an important activity for the healthy growth and development of children. In particular, gymnastics promotes the development of coordination, strength, muscular endurance, flexibility and balance.
For the last few years I have focused on nutrition and the physical fitness of children, along with ways to improve our health and sports results through a course of exercise and a balanced diet. Please take a moment to view my research papers which are available for reading on this website.
Personal Training for your child/children in the comfort of your own home. Your children will learn many gymnastics skills (jumps, balances, rolls, cartwheels, handstands, walkovers, handsprings, somersaults, etc.) and create positive attitudes towards physical activity while developing their strength, flexibility and coordination.
For primary school children I can also deliver the Core Proficiency Awards Scheme which has been developed by British Gymnastics (the National Governing Body for the sport of Gymnastics in the UK). These Awards progressively develop core skills such as Balance, Strength, Flexibility & Coordination, with 8 levels of attainment, and provide children with the motivation of earning rewards for achievement in the form of certificates, badges and a gold medal.
